Watching Videos
The watch page (/watch) is where you play a video and act on it — save it, comment, request a service, or jump to related picks.
Player and Theater Mode
- The video plays in the embedded player. Controls include play, progress, current time, mute, volume, captions, settings, picture-in-picture and fullscreen.
- Click Theater mode to widen the player across the full page width; the button label switches to Default mode — click again to restore the normal layout.
- Click Youtube to open the same video on YouTube in a new tab.
Action Buttons Under the Player
In one row under the player:
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| I need | Opens the Wishing Well dialog so you can describe what you need and Submit |
| + Favorite | Saves the video to your favorites; becomes - Favorite when already saved |
| Watch Later | Adds the video to your list and briefly shows Added |
| Share | Opens the share panel |
| Youtube | Opens the video on YouTube |
| Theater mode | Toggles the wide player layout |
| Comments | Scrolls down to the comments section |
| I provide | Starts a service listing from this video (requires a Service Provider plan or above) |
Most actions ask you to sign in first. After you sign in, the page continues the action you started.
Favorites and Note
- Click + Favorite to keep the video. The button turns into - Favorite; click it again to remove the video.
- When the video is favorited, a Note block appears under the recommendations. Write your own notes and Save — or use Add Note when the block is empty.
- Your saved videos also appear on the Favorite Videos page in your dashboard.
Comments and Recommendations
- Under the player you get a category card with a breadcrumb and a short article summary plus Read article.
- Recommend Services (or Recommend Products) lists listings in the same category, each with Request and Follow.
- Recommend Videos on the side shows other videos from the same category; the Watch Later list appears there too when you have saved items.
- In Comments, type in the box labeled *Share your thoughts...*, add emoji with the picker if you like, then click Submit.
🔍 Tip: Sign in before you click I need or I provide — the page remembers your action and continues it right after you return.
